Brown Water Notice

Due to the demand placed on the water system to fight the house fire on Brantley Drive on January 8th, 2025, iron residue located in the water system pipes has discolored some residents’ water. The Rawls Springs Utility District is aware of the temporary decolorization of the water. To reduce the discoloration of the water, the Rawls Springs Utility District is flushing all water lines. If you have discolored water, you can help flush the lines by running your water for 10-15 minutes. If the decolorization persists after 12:00 pm on Friday, January 10th, please contact the Utility District’s water operator at 601.606.5377.
