The Rawls Springs Utility District operates in compliance with the Mississippi’s 811 Excavation Law.  This state law requires that the Rawls Springs Utility District submit a locate request prior to digging.  This request can be submitted no less than 2 working days and no more than 10 working days before excavating.  Requests are normally processed on the date of submission.  However, requests submitted after 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday or on observed holidays will be processed on the next business day.
