10/20/25 Weekly Post
October 21, 2025
DROUGHT CONDITIONS: Drought conditions lead to soil settling and shifting. This movement can cause water and sewer pipes to bend, crack, or become disjointed and will increase the likelihood of leaks and breaks. Foul odors, wet or soggy ground, unusual plant growth, slow drains, high water and sewer bills, cracks in your foundation or walls, low water pressure, and the sound of running water or a humming noise coming from the pipes are all signs that indicate a water or sewer leak.
OFFICE CLOSURE: The Rawls Springs Utility District Office will be closed on Tuesday, 11 November in observance of Veterans Day Federal Holiday.
